News and Views is a photo diary of life at and around the Lake District with Carol and Ric.
We are building it as we go and will add past months as I sort through my photo files.
The Ennerdale Valley, one of the most beautiful, remote and quietest valleys in the Lake District and sitting at the foot of Pillar Rock and Red Pike.
Carolclimb have been running Outdoor Adventure and Skills Courses from Ennerdale Scout Camp and Local Youth Hostels for many years
Ennerdale Scout Camp and YHA's at Cat Crag Gillerthwaite and Black Sail are ideal bases for outdoor activities, field studies and exploration of Lakeland's remotest valley's and fells.
Many of our clients have been returning for many years and they include:
Primary and secondary school groups.
Further and higher education institutions.
Youth clubs, DofE and CCF groups.
Mountain Leader Training and Assessments
Mountain First Aid courses.
Coast to Coast walkers on the famous Wainwright route.
Individuals, small groups and campers can also be accommodated.
Groups of friends and extended families.
